Your Journey to Inn at the Quay

From New Westminster SkyTrain

  • Disembark at Shops at New West stop
  • Go to second floor and proceed to the west side of the building, towards McInnes Overpass
  • Turn left onto the overpass and proceed to the elevator marked ‘The Quay’
  • Take the elevator to first floor, walk through the breezeway tthe hotel lobby entrance is on the left
Optional Route
  • Disembark the train at the Shops at New West stop
  • Proceed to the street level at 8th Street & Columbia Street
  • Cross the street to reach Hyack Square, and see the Columbia Street Overpass
  • Take the stairs (please note, there’s no elevator access here) to the RiverMarket
  • The hotel is conveniently located right next door to the Market

From the Tsawassen Ferry Terminal

  • Start on Highway #17 North, heading towards River Road
  • Continue your drive over the Alex Fraser Bridge, followed by the Queensborough Bridge, leading onto Stewardson Way
  • Proceed along Stewardson Way and then turn right onto 3rd Avenue
  • Take the overpass, which leads onto Quayside Drive
  • Upon reaching the 4-way stop intersection, take a left turn. Note: Do not proceed over the second overpass
  • You’ve arrived

From Horseshoe Bay Ferry Terminal

  • From the ferry terminal, set your course on Highway #1 East (Upper Levels Highway), heading towards North Vancouver
  • Continue across Iron Workers Memorial Bridge, maintaining route on Highway #1 through Burnaby
  • Take Exit #33 towards Canada Way. After the exit, take a left at the traffic lights
  • Keep going on Canada Way until you reach New Westminster. Canada Way changes to 8th Street upon entering New West
  • Follow 8th Street to the bottom of the hill, and then take a left turn onto Columbia Street
  • Next, turn right onto Begbie Street
  • Continue past the train tracks and just past the Public Market
  • You’ve arrived

From Canada/USA Border

  • Start on Highway #99
  • Take route #91 at exit #16 and continue over Alex Fraser and Queensborough Bridges and onto Stewardson Way
  • Keep an eye out for New Westminster signs
  • Turn right onto 3rd Avenue and continue onto overpass to Quayside Drive
  • Upon reaching the 4-way stop intersection, turn left
  • You’ve arrived

From Vancouver International Airport

  • Watch for directional signs to Richmond & Vancouver and cross the Arthur Laing Bridge
  • Proceed onto Marine Way East making sure to pass under Queensborough Bridge and continuing onto Stewardson Way. Stay in the right lane
  • Continue straight as the road’s name changes to Columbia Street
  • Make a right turn onto 3rd Avenue and take the overpass onto Quayside Drive
  • Upon reaching the 4-way stop intersection, take a left turn
  • You’ve arrived

From Trans-Canada Highway (Westbound)

  • Travel West on Highway #1 across the Port Mann Bridge
  • Take the Brunette Exit South
  • Follow Brunette Avenue onto Columbia Street, passing under the Patullo Bridge
  • Once on Columbia Street, make a left turn onto Begbie Street and proceed over the train tracks
  • Keep following the road as it winds past the Public Market
  • You’ve arrived

From the Trans-Canada Highway (Eastbound)

  • Travel east on Highway #1 and take Brunette Exit South
  • Follow Brunette Avenue onto Columbia Street, passing under the Patullo Bridge
  • Turn left onto Begbie Street and cross the train tracks
  • Follow the road past the Public Market
  • You’ve arrived
