Getting around is easy. Inn At The Quay hotel on the Fraser River Boardwalk is just steps away from many of the top attractions. When you want to head to downtown Vancouver it’s only 25 minutes away on the SkyTrain, and the closest stop is across the street from the hotel at the New West Station. Vancouver International Airport is a 30-minute drive.
Walk to the Shops at New West Station, Columbia Street boutiques, Bridal Row stores, and antiques shops. Several restaurants are next door to the hotel at the revamped River Market. Others are within a short five- to 10-minute walk. If you are driving, the MacArthur Glen Outlets and Tsawwassen Mills Outlet Shopping Centre are just a short distance away.
The two-mile New Westminster Quay Boardwalk leads you along the river to Pier Park with an urban beach, basketball courts, and a concert venue. Queen’s Park is also nearby with gardens, trails and a sports arena.
The city’s arts and culture scene is exploding with several galleries popping up around town and public art at Pier Park and Hyack Square. Plan your visit around a New West festival, Columbia StrEAT Food Truck Fest, Hyack Festival, BC Cultural Crawl or River Fest.
On the boardwalk, don't miss River Market, the Fraser River Discovery Centre, House of Comedy, Pandora's Locks, and Paddlewheeler Riverboat Cruises. Two casinos – Hard Rock and Starlight – are a 15-minute drive away or one or two Skytrain stops depending on which one you visit.
If you’re in town for business or to visit your college student on campus in New West, you’ll appreciate the close proximity of the hotel to the Anvil Centre, Justice Institute of BC, Douglas College, and Urban Academy.
