Did you know?
New Westminster Station
In 1898, the Great Fire destroyed downtown New Westminster, including the New Westminster station that was made of wood. In 1899, CPR rebuilt the station using fireproof materials in the architectural style of a Chateau, a small-scale version of the Vancouver station. New Westminster station is still standing today at 800 Columbia Street and currently operates as Kelly O’Bryan’s Restaurant.
